Health Benefits of Dark Chocolate

According to a recent study, dark chocolate had been discovered to have a good and health benefits.  There are some healthy benefits we can get in eating dark chocolate but it should be in moderation only.  We should remember that chocolate is also high in fat.  We should keep track of our calories as we work to loose our weight.

Researchers found out that eating a little amount of dark chocolate three times every week can lower our blood pressure.  It can improve our blood flow and can also prevent the formation of blood clots.  This is the reason that dark chocolate is good for our heart.

In addition, dark chocolate is loaded of antioxidants.  Our body needs plenty of antioxidants to help to defend itself of free radicals, which can cause oxidative damage to our cells. So, eating dark chocolate will protect us from many types of cancer and slows the process of aging.  Since dark chocolate is high in vitamins and minerals, it can prevent us from stroke and cardiovascular diseases.  These vitamins and minerals includes potassium, copper, magnesium, and iron.

Still, some research and studies are discovering many benefits of eating dark chocolate.  Why not try to start eating one?  Make sure that it is only in moderation and should only be three times a week as the study suggest. As you can see on the picture above, I started to buy Lindt dark chocolate.
