Today is All Saint's Day, also known as Undas in the Philippines. It is a public holiday on November 01 to honor and remember both saints and our departed ones. As a tradition, families will go to the cemetery, memorial parks, and columbariums to offer flowers prayers, lighting of candles and cleaning the graves of the deceased love ones. This event for many Filipinos makes them to travel to their hometowns, making it a family reunion. The occasion is solemn for remembrance but it is also a communal event where you see vendors selling candles, food, drinks, toys, and flowers inside and outside the cemetery.
