After 3 years of my Honda Click125i usage, I was obliged to change the back tire of my scooter because of wear and tear. The tire had cracks on the side which makes it flat and too dangerous for continuous driving. This is also for my own safety. Thanks for the mechanic who changed it for only 30 minutes. I was lucky that we had this motor shop near to our place.
You're correct. It's for your safety, first and foremost, and the safety of the pedestrians and the fellow drivers on the road.
