Rainy Season

It’s the month of August wherein rainy or wet season starts. True to its label, the second day of this month pours a heavy rain throughout the day. I’m very lucky it’s my rest day from work and I don’t have to go outside to brave the pouring rain. I’ve always found the rain very calming, I love the sound of the silver liquid drops of the rain. 

Rainy Season

Finally the rainy season had began. Thanks to typhoon Domeng which according to PAG-ASA will unlikely to make landfall but would enhance the monsoon rain, and for dumping rains all over Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, and Quezon and most western part of the country. I have been praying all along since last May that rainy season will come soon because of the sweltering and hot summer, to ease our burden from the unbearable heat of  the sun.  Thank God, my prayers are answered. Since last night, the rain continues to pour and I was able to sleep well with the windows of my room opened. Now, I would be able to save my electricity bill without using the AC at night. Thank you rainy season, although there are some disadvantages going outside our house because we will encounter floodings on some streets and being wet with our clothes and shoes. At least, rain will give us comfort for having a cold weather.

After The Rain

There are struggles along the way
In our life’s journey everyday
The pain and laughter that joins together
We experienced the learning after the rain.

We love and we hurt
To someone who never cares
You give the best you got
As if you are far apart

The process of life is uncertain
You never know when it will end
Live as the day will never stop
At the rainbow’s end you will find the path

After a stormy whether there is always a sunshine

A light which radiates that is send by almighty divine

To remind us of life's colorful and precious time

That after the rain a ray of light will truly shine
