Happy New Year 2025
Another year is over and we all welcome year 2025 with hope that it will bring joy, good health, and prosperity in our life. Celebrating new year without the usual fireworks is a dull moment. It is already a tradition in our country to greet and welcome the coming year on New Year's eve with fireworks and firecrackers because we believe it will drive away any bad luck in the start of the new year. Fireworks have been a symbol of celebration and triumph for centuries. As we embrace the year 2025 let's pray for each other for the good of our lives, peace all over the world, and love to all mankind. Happy New Year!

Blessed and Prosperous New Year 2021
First and foremost, I would like to greet everybody a blessed and prosperous new year. It’s another year of unpredictable and worrisome year since the corona virus pandemic is still here. Fortunately, vaccines are already available and hopefully our country can avail of these vaccines and start to give Filipinos the needed vaccination. Let us be positive and be optimistic that the year 2021 will be the year of healing, give us a better life and will provide more opportunities of employment to those who became jobless during the start of the pandemic. I wish that this year will bring us more prosperity and good health throughout the year. Let us not forget to pray and thank God for all the blessings he had given us for the past year especially that we are free from COVID infection and still very much alive. Let us stay safe and follow the health protocol of wearing face mask and face shield whenever we go out of our house. I thank God that when I wake up this morning, my plants outside my house had grown so fresh and blooming which is a very positive sign of prosperity and abundance. Again, I wish everybody a blessed and prosperous new year.

Happy New Year 2019!
I would like to greet you my dear readers a happy and prosperous New Year of 2019. Last year had been a good year for me but there are some sad moments that happened when my dearest mother passed away. I believe God had ended her sufferings too soon so as not to prolong the pain she has to endure. I know my mother is now with our creator watching and guiding us. On the bright side of last year, I was blessed to be employed in a BPO company. My whole family remains to be in good shape and healthy. My wish and goal this year is to work hard, stay humble, stay healthy, and more blessings to come. I believe this year of 2019 will be lucky for me because I started the year to work, work, and work. Again, Happy New Year and God bless us all. Peace.

Chinese New Year
Today we are celebrating the Chinese new year. A Chinese friend of my sister always gave us the popular "tikoy" or Nian Gao during this celebration every year. This is already their tradition of giving away "tikoys" to their neighbors as part of their custom. Eating tikoy during this time is considered good luck, that's according to the Chinese belief. To all my Chinese Filipino friends I would like to greet you Kung Hei Fat Choi.

Missing in December
After five years of going vacation every year in December, this is the first time I will skip to celebrate my Christmas and New Year. Actually, I had my original plan to leave this December 5 but due to the long vacation extension of the Indian colleague in our department whom I'm relieving, I have to change my vacation plan early next year. I will be missing so much the camaraderie and spirit of Christmas season with my family and relatives this year. For an OFW like me, Christmas and New Year is so special for me because this is the season I can enjoy my vacation with the family. Bonding together like going to the mall, shopping together, eating and dining together in a special restaurant, and most of all celebrating Christmas together especially during Noche Buena and on the eve of the coming new year watching the fireworks outside our house are all the things I will be missing this year. Anyway, I will just make up with my family during my vacation early next year. But for sure, I will miss them so much. I will try to make my Christmas happy here in the kingdom, alone.
I will miss this one

Welcome 2014!
Welcome Year 2014! Another year has gone and a new
beginning had just started. I know Year of the Horse is a lucky year for me.
Think positive and everything will be alright as long as the energy around you
is magnetize by positivity. Think about the good things that will be coming to
you in the future. Work hard to have a better life. Most of all, prayers are
the best weapon against all odds, because only God is the only one who can
answer your prayers. Give thanks to God for all blessings that will come into your life.

Farewell 2013
Only a few hours and we are going to say goodbye to 2013. Another year of challenges are about to test our lives in different ways. For me I want to forget all the bad things that I had encountered during 2013 and move on for 2014. A lot of not so good things happened to me but I considered it lessons to be learned. I pray to God that 2014 will be a lucky and positive year for me since 2, 0, 1, 4 are my lucky numbers. More blessings and good tidings are my wish to my family.
I'm still very lucky during 2013 because of the blessings I got like more overtime from my work during the early months of 2013 and the two months salary bonus which our company is giving every year. I thank God for these blessings. Peace on earth, goodwill to man!
