Two Days Before Christmas
It is really cold hear in Saudi Arabia on the month of December. During this season you will encounter different types of sickness. Sinced yesterday I was not feeling well when I came from the office. I was coughing a lot and I really feel tired. I take a 10 minute rest and opened my laptop for a while and checked my FB account and watched half of the news from the Philippines. Finally, to get out of boredom alone in my room even I'm not feeling well, I decided to go out and went to Lulu Hyperkmarket which is just a 15 minute walk from our building. I bought some groceries for the preparation of Christmas. I was planning to make a fruit salad so I bought lots of fruit cocktail cans, as well as apples, bananas and oranges. After I finished to buy all the things I need, I decided to take a limousine going to my place. Still I was coughing a lot and feeling to have a fever. I drink one tablet of panadol and decided to sleep as well.
Today, two days before Christmas, when I woke up from bed, I got this headache and my coughing continued as well. I decided to drink one tablet of panadol again and for a while it relieved me from my headache and pain on my back. I was able to wash my clothes and eat my lunch and prepared the fruit salad for Christmas day.
Tonight, before I sleep, I pray and wish when I wake up tomorrow my feelings will be good and better again. I don't want to spend my Christmas in bed because this a special day I want to celebrate.

Happy Birthday To Me!
I'm so blessed that celebrating my birthday today is so peaceful and quiet. It is like just an ordinary day in the office without anybody knowing that this is my special day of my life. The first thing I did when I woke up this morning is to say a prayer to God thanking him the blessings he has given me and for my family. It is really a busy day for me at work. I'm planning to eat at a special restaurant after work but I decided to buy a special noodles and a small cake for me to eat at my flat. Thank God for giving me a chance to live more and being here as part of the history. Good health, good tidings, peaceful life, and more financial blessings are my wish for the coming years.

December, December
I really like when the month of December comes. First, December means cold season is here to give us relief from the scorching hot season of Saudi Arabia. During December, the weather is really very good and you feel relax and you can enjoy outside the cold temperature, walking along the bayside, sitting on the fresh green grass. Second, December is a very special month for the Christian world, whereas we celebrate Christmas Day on December 25 in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Third, December is also a special month for myself because it is the month I was born 40 more years ago. I welcome with open arms and with happiness in my heart the start of the month of December.

Live a Life That Matters (By Anonymous)
All Souls' Day has just finished a few days ago. Although I'm working here in KSA for over 19 years already, I never forget to pray for the souls of my departed ones (relatives and close friends) during this occasion. One way or another, they had been a part of my life through thick and thin, through ups and down. I realized then, that life is too short. You will never know the day you will pass away. That's why I always cherish every single day of my life as if it will be the last. As an eye opener for all of us, I would like to reprint this wonderful poem about living life that will matter most. I hope the author of this poem will allow me to post it in my blog so others may read it and will serve an inspiration for them.
Live a Life That Matters (by Anonymous)
Credit to the Owner (CTTO)
Whether you are ready or not, someday your life will come to an end.
There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, no hours nor days.
All the things you collected, whether treasure or forgotten, will pass to someone else.
Your wealth, fame, and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance.
It will not matter what you owned or what you are owed.
Your grudges, resentments, frustrations, and jealousies will finally disappear.
So, too, your hopes, ambitions, plans, and to-do lists will expire.
The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away.
It won’t matter where you came from, or on what side of the tracks you lived at the end.
It won’t matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant, even your gender and skin
color will be irrelevant.
So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?
What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built; not what you got, but what you gave.
What will matter is not your success, but your significance.
What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught.
What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage, or sacrifice that
enriched, empowered, or encouraged others to emulate your example.
What will matter is not your competence, but your character.
What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you are gone.
What will matter is not your memories, but the memories that live in those who love you.
What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom, and for what.
Living a life that matters doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s not a matter of circumstances, but of choice.
Choose to live a life that matters.

Shades of Inspiration
Look at the birds above your head
they neither plant nor reap
they neither store nor hoard
yet day by day God gives them food
they neither plant nor reap
they neither store nor hoard
yet day by day God gives them food
Look at the flowers beneath your feet
they neither card nor spin
they neither sow nor weave
yet King Solomon shone less brightly than they
they neither card nor spin
they neither sow nor weave
yet King Solomon shone less brightly than they
So why worry about your life
what you will get to eat
what you will have to wear?
what you will get to eat
what you will have to wear?

Bless and Heal My Father
Dear God,
Please bless and heal my father for his illness. He already suffered a lot all these years. I can feel the pain whenever I see his frail body. Please Lord, give him the strength to battle his illness. Touch him, for your healing hands will make him feel relieve and ease the pain. We love our Father very much my dear Lord. Without him and my mother, we will never exist on this earth. Oh dear God, I'm begging you to heal my father, please. Amen.

BlackBerry Curve 9300 Smartphone
Ramadan had ended, department stores and hypermarkets in the Kingdom started the season of bargain and sale items slashing their prices from 25 up to 50%. This is a good chance for all people especially for the expatriates to avail of this special opportunity. Since I'm planning to buy a BlackBerry smartphone, I went to a mobile shop to check the item. I chanced upon the BlackBerry Curve 9300 on sale for a price of only SR 949 which was considerably a best price for me. The price of the phone was SR 1099 before. After checking the specifications of the gadget, I bought the phone immediately and saved about SR 150 from my pocket. I also bought my son Raven, a BlackBerry Curve 8520 at a price of SR 649 which is already a killer price. I know my son will be very happy to received this phone since he requested me to buy this one for him. Now, I'm enjoying to use my BlackBerry to the fullest. Its really so cool!

Colorful Life
Just attended a children's birthday party tonight, September 08, 2011. It was a colorful and wonderful party for the kids, as everybody enjoyed it. I was a part of the parlor games for adults and I enjoyed it much. I had realized tonight that kids and adults can enjoy together at the same time away from the pressures of school or work from the office. It was indeed a colorful life tonight as what the clown from the party symbolizes. An enjoyable night indeed!
Me and Archie. I always enjoy the company of Archie. We shared one thing in common. Eating a lot of food and discovering new kiosk and restaurant around our place to dine together.

Renovation of Our Office
I will totally miss the set-up of my workstation in our office. The management decided to totally renovate our place which was built last 1997. They decided to modernize the set-up of the layout and to design it with a more friendly set-up. Here are some of the snapshot of my present workstation. Truly, this set-up will be a thing of the past. I will post later in a few months after the renovation is completed.

My New DELL Laptop
After three years of using my Toshiba Laptop, I decided to buy a new one to catch up with the latest technology. After taking surveys and interviews with some experts from different computer shops, I finally choose a DELL brand. I bought the new machine from Jarir Bookstore in Al-Khobar and after some questions and queries I choose the model of Dell Inspiron N5010. The specifications are as follows:
Intel Core i3-330M Processor 2.53 GHz
4 GB DDR3 RAM
500 GB Hard Disk
Camera - 1.3 megapixel
15.6" WLED TrueLife Display
DVD -RW
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium
1 GB Dedicated DDR3 VRAM
With 1 year warranty
The system is quite fast as I expected and no problems in browsing the internet. And it seems I'm happy for the time being and I hope I will not encounter any trouble on using it in the future.

Shades of Inspiration - Life's Passageway
1. Good to begin well, better to end well.
2. You don't have to fight to be a man. But sometimes you have to fight when you're a man.
3. Do not trust appearances: they are often false.
4. Seek somebody who communicates with you in laughters, because one laughter could turn a day into a joyful day.
5. Do not interest yourself in wealth: it will disappear.
6. Open your arms to change, but don't give up your values.
7. Make peace with your past, so it won't mess up the present.
8. Make every moment of your life be filled with joy.
9. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
10. Should you encounter a problem along your way, change your direction, but not your destination.
11. The very best we can give each other is our love, not our advice, and certainly not our judgement.

12. When your feelings get strong for someone, it's always wiser to stop for a while and give your heart a time to breathe, a time to use your mind, to weigh the situation based on reason and not on emotions.
